About the Author
James Frideres is the Chair of Canadian Ethnic Studies at the University of Calgary. His research interests include Ethnic relations, Social Impact Assessment, Immigration and integration, and Aboriginal people in Canada. He received his MA and PhD from Washington State University.
René Gadacz is an Instructor in the Arts & Education Department at Grande Prairie Regional College. René’s areas of interdisciplinary research and teaching interests include customary/Aboriginal law, criminology and alternative dispute resolution, ethnic/minority relations, minority health/disability studies, social indicators studies in community economic development, social justice/human rights, technology and culture, and social/political theory.
